No it is not painful. The ClearLift laser creates microscopic dermal injuries and does not cause damage to the outer layer of the epidermis.
This varies, on average 4-6 sessions and then maintenance as necessary. However your practitioner will be able to provide you with a better guide upon a personalised skin assessment.
As with all laser hair removal methods, Soprano Titanium requires a series of treatments, a course of 6-8 treatments with top-up sessions. Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage; however, at any given time your hair is in various stages of growth. Thus, most if not all the hairs will fall out in the weeks following treatment, but only the hairs that were in the active growth phase will have been permanently destroyed. The rest will grow back ready for your next treatment. Even if you cannot see hairs at your next visit, the follicles will still be present underneath the skin surface and this is the target for the laser. Some patients require the occasional top-up session for the most resistant hairs. Hair removal is a treatment for everyone.
There may be some improvement from the first session, but you should start to notice a greater improvement after 4 treatments.
